Q. How much are your babies?
A. $1400 CDN fully weaned, DNA sexed and they come with a health guarantee
Q. How do we reserve a baby?
A. Once a decision has been made to purchase one of our babies, we require a $200 non refundable deposit to hold a baby for you. If a baby should not be available due to unforeseen circumstances your deposit will be refunded or held for the next clutch.
Note: we cannot guarantee the sex of the bird.
Q. Do you ship?
A. Yes, within Canada. Shipping and crating fees apply. We try and use the most direct route available at the time.
Q.How long does it take for a baby to be weaned?
A. Approximately 14-16 weeks. We will only release a baby once he/she has been eating on his/her own and maintaining or increasing its weight.
Q. We have a vacation home in the USA that we spend several months at, can we travel with our pet amazon.
A. Yes you can but it requires some pre-planning. Applications need to be filled out and arrangements made. As long as it is between Canada and the USA no quarantine is required however a vet check must be done at the border. Make arrangements ahead of time at the border crossing to make sure there is a vet on duty at the time you will cross. Have all necessary documents on hand. See our links on travelling with pet birds for useful information and applications for pet passports etc. Keep in mind that there will be fees associated with some applications as well as for the vet. Travelling via land is cheaper and requires less documents than by air.
